Heading North from Nantwich will bring you to the village of Bunbury, past the junctions of the Llangollen Canal and through Barbridge.

Just over half an hour’s cruising brings you to Hurleston Junction and the Hurleston Reservoir, which is supplied by water from the River Dee running through the Llangollen Canal. You then reach Barbridge Junction where the Barbridge Inn is canalside. You can stop here, or continue as far as Bunbury, turning your boat before the Bunbury locks and walk into Bunbury where the Dysart Arms and the Nags Head can be found.
